    As a note it should be said that the Gael-Taca branch in Dublin no longer exists. Their office is in Cork City.

    Pádraig Ó Cuanacháin died in March 2008. You can read an article about him from The Irish Times after his death here:

    The work he did was remarkable and he was definitely the best Irish language activist Ireland has ever had and probably ever will have.
