Lassiter, President/CEOof the Boyle County Industrial Foundation. “Kentucky has the fourth lowest industrial electricityrates in the country, and the lowest among states east of the Mississippi River. The furtherrestriction or loss of coal-fired electricity generation would be a serious setback to our state and localbusiness recruitment efforts at a time when jobs are sorely needed for people out of work. Cleancoal must be one component of America’s diverse energy strategies. We support the effort toeducate the public about the critical economic impact of coal by the American Coalition for CleanCoal Electricity (ACCCE) on the national front and FACES of Coal at the state level.”About the Boyle County Industrial Foundation: A Partner in the Danville/Boyle County EconomicDevelopment Partnership (EDP), the Boyle County Industrial Foundation is the lead Partner within the EDP forthe primary mission of business development.
