    • One of the major challenges for any hospital is
    • preventing the transmission of viruses and
    • bacteria that lead to surgical site infections.
    • Infections can of course lead to complications
    • while putting unnecessary pressure on medical
    • resources.
    • For example, did you know that on average a
    • patient with a post-operative infection stays in
    • hospital an additional 8 days?

    • We therefore asked ourselves how we could make
    • a major impact here
    • and we quickly realized that technology we have
    • already developed could actually make the
    • difference
    • But we need to know more…..
