  • Thank you for having me here at DPAC. My name is Joe Doran. I am the CEO of Media6Degrees. I am not going to talk about Media6 today but if you want to find out more - grab me or one of my many Media6 colleagues running around the conference today. Instead I am going to talk about the Power of Social Network & Connections and the opportunity to drive actionable insight for marketers. I only have 15 minutes so I am going to give you the punch line first. Three major take a ways from my quick talk today. The research, study & application of Social Networks & Connections has been around for a long time. Social Networks have a powerful impact on human behavior. I will show studies that prove it and some would argue that word of mouth is powered by social network influence. Social Networks can drive insight & action in the modern world
