  • 6. Gaps between wall, floor and gully trap Typical example of gaps between the tiles . Major cause due to abuse during routine cleaning using acid, hard brush, pressure
  • 7. Flood the surface with water Wash thoroughly using lot of water to enter into the space making the way for the chemical to enter into the pores, gaps honeycomb and get crystalline.
  • 8. Treatment using Crystalline Water Proofing System Make thin slurry of Cementitious Crystalline Water Proofing Compound and apply at on the joint & gap between the tiles
  • 9. Treatment using Crystalline Water Proofing System Chemical will enter along with the water and get Crystalized. Sprinkle water in between to allow the chemical to keep active
  • 10. Washing Use some waste wet cloth to clean the surface . Do not use sharp pointed brush to clean.
  • 11. Post Wash The original structure will look alike but all the gaps are filled.
  • 12. Application  Water retaining structures and containment walls  Swimming pool, reservoirs, bathroom and toilets  Basements, tunnels, machine pits, reservoirs, concrete walls  Concrete structure including elevator shafts, planter boxes and concrete roof decks.  Concrete pipes

Advantages  Becomes an integral part of the concrete structures instead of merely being a surface coating or membrane that can damage or delaminate.  Penetrates deep into the capillary tracts and shrinkage cracks and can seal both positive and negative side of concrete structure.  Un-reacted chemicals remain active and will react in contact with water providing additional protection against leakage.  Protects against water borne corrosive chemicals that can cause corrosion of reinforcement.  Does not require special protection during back filling, placement of reinforcement or other procedures necessary to protect a surface type waterproofing systems.
