    Company, Organization, or Institution: products, mission

    Artist, Band, or Public Figure: affiliation/record label, awards, release date, link to music players
    Entertainment: affiliation, awards, release date
    Cause or Community: mission

    Look at it?
    Like it?
    Comment on it?
    Share it with other people?”
    In other words:
    Is this post relevant to your target audience?
    Will this post elicit an emotion, reaction, memory, or thought from your target audience?
  • 27. Text Tips
    • Keep your status short: 1–3 lines when viewed in Fb
    • 28. Tag other businesses/Pages whenever you mention them
    You must Like their Page
    Type “@”business name until you get a list of options
    • Use third person P.O.V. (no “I”)
    • 29. Ask open ended questions
    • 30. Start a sentence with a verbto get users to take action
    • 31. No more than 1 exclamation mark
    • 32. Don’t write in ALL CAPS
    • 33. Text alone is boring, add a link or photo to draw attention to your post

    Shorten the URL with bit.ly or ow.ly link tracking services
    Paste URL into status; allow Fb to generate link preview
    Delete the URL from the status box; then type a status message
    Edit the link preview title and description by mousing over it until it highlights yellow, then click to edit.
    Keep the title to 1 line
    1–3 lines for description
    Select a thumbnail image that relates to your post

    • Don’t upload photos to your Wall (photo album), upload them into a photo album
