    Donation of books

  • 4. We wanted to do something for the less privileged
    of our age group living in rural areas, that will
    make difference in their lives.
  • 5. We discussed amongst ourselves to find ideas to help our less fortunate friends.
  • 6. IMAGINE
  • 7. Plan in progress...
    We realised that students in rural schools barely got to read good books or sufficient stationery necessary for the school curriculum.
  • 8. Knowledge is Power
    • We identified one such school located in a
    village remotely located from Bengaluru, ran by
    a retired chemistry professor from Bengaluru.
    This School needed stationary and books for the
    students studying there.
    • We planned to approach our friends and
    neighbours who will contribute books, toys and
    stationary which they seldom use.

  • 10. Your gifts will mean a lot to the children receiving them
  • 11. Contentment of giving!
  • 12. Sorting the items gathered.
  • 13. We made the cartons of books, stationery and toys based on the topics and categories.
  • 14. No of books collected : approx 700.
    Language: Kannada, English and Hindi.
    Subject: Encyclopedia, plain books, text books.
    Stationary: Crayons, Pencils and erasers.

    We managed to collect books and toys on various topics, languages and for different age groups.
  • 16. Collection handed over to Adarshvidyamandir
  • 17. We received so much love and respect not only from our friends and neighbours but also the School staff.
  • 18. Blessed to bring about some change
