    • Christchurch Diocesan Pilgrimage to WYD, 2013• A pilgrimage at the local and Diocesan level (incorporating other dioceses’ where possible)• 2 and half week pilgrimage which incorporates World Youth Day.• A journey that includes places of pilgrimage while giving pilgrims the opportunity to actively engage in mission work for those in need.• Limited to 45

    • What is it going to Cost?The estimated cost for the pilgrimage is $5800 including airtravel, accommodation (twin share), WYD week fee, all coachtravel and some meals.It does not include personal spending money, insurance outsideof the WYD week, entrance to some sites and gratuities.The estimated cost is subject to the number of pilgrimstraveling, the exchange rate, airline bookings and deposit.The WYD week fee includes all meals, simple accommodation,insurance for that week and entrance to all WYD events.
    • Diocesan Policies and Questions WYD is for those aged 18 – 35. If you are under 18 or over 35 you may still apply to come. School groups are invited to contact the WYD planning committee All those wanting to travel to WYD with the Chch Diocese must apply to come on this pilgrimage and applications will be considered by the Chch Diocesan WYD planning team. If you are under the age of 18 it is expected that a legal guardian or parent will attend with you if your application is approved.
    • Diocesan Policies and Questions There is no shorter/longer option for this pilgrimage but we will help you find a shorter/longer pilgrimage with another group if possible. Why 45 People? What if we don’t get enough people or have too many? Can I extend travel? What about families?
