Common medication includes nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), colchicineand painkillers. <br />
Note that some patients cannot tolerate NSAIDs, as they can have some bad side effects, including stomach bleeding.<br />
Other medications are known to have side effects as well.<br />
