    • SIMPLE LIVING Simple living encompasses a number of different voluntary practices to simplify one's lifestyle. These may include reducing one's possessions or increasing self-sufficiency, for example. Simple living may be characterized by individuals being satisfied with what they need rather than want.

    • 76% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. 43% of American households spend more than they earn each year. America's Financial Facts 1/3 to 1/2 of a families income is spent on housing alone. 50% of 1000 people surveyed had less than a three-month savings cushion and 27% had no savings at all. 1 out of every 200 homes will be foreclosed upon
    • Live Simply Reuse what you can. Make it yourself. Grow and store your own food. Get rid of credit cards. Pay off debt. Save. Produce less waste. Buy an used mobile home and remodel it yourself.
    • Be Debt Free Pay off small debts first. It helps keep you motivated! Write down every dime you spend and find the unneeded. Stop using credit! If you can't pay cash, you can't afford it. Don't buy a car on credit. Pay cash. This has saved us the most money. No monthly payment and we don't need full coverage insurance. Save for a rainy day. Budget everything. Use the envelope method if possible.
