  • 1. Isaiah 62:1-5For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, forJerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, tillher vindication shines out like the dawn,her salvation like a blazing torch. Thenations will see your vindication, and allkings your glory; you will be called by anew name that the mouth of the Lord willbestow. You will be a crown of splendourin the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in thehand of your God. No longer will they callyou Deserted, or name your land Desolate.But you will be called Hephzibah, and yourland Beulah; for the Lord will take delightin you, and your land will be married. As ayoung man marries a young woman, so willyour Builder marry you; as a bridegroomrejoices over his bride, so will your Godrejoice over you.
