  6. 6. Discern <ul><li>[dih-surn, -zurn] –verb </li></ul><ul><li>To perceive by the sight or some other sense or by the intellect. </li></ul><ul><li>2. To distinguish mentally; recognize as distinct or different; discriminate. </li></ul>
