  • 5. Discernment [ dih-surn-muhnt] –noun 1. The faculty of discerning. 2. The act or an instance of discerning.
  • 6. Discern
    • [dih-surn, -zurn] –verb
    • To perceive by the sight or some other sense or by the intellect.
    • 2. To distinguish mentally; recognize as distinct or different; discriminate.
  • 7. Pray & Listen Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God
  • 8. 1 Corinthians 9:23-24
      • “ Everything is permissible”—but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible”—but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.
  • 9. Freedom
      • Will this decision harm anyone?
      • Am I using my freedom correctly with this decision?
  • 10. Impressed? Who am I trying to please?
  • 11. Colossians 3:23 “ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men”
  • 12. Gods Plan We slip of the road occasionally, but God is full of grace.
  • 13. Spirit Jesus said “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever”
  • 14. Scripture 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
  • 15. Sense Does What I am hearing from God sound like something he would ask me to do?
  • 16. Support Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise
  • 17. And Finally 10 Days Prayer For 10 Years Guidence
