    • We’re going to prove this theory wrong. “if you want my future, forget my past.” Melanie ChisholmTuesday, 11 December 2012
    • To be progressive, to be futuristic... More scientific knowledge, more tools, make more jobs, master nature, get more power, cheaper power, struggle for a better life for your children, health, prosperity, material security, shelter, bigger, faster, stronger, knowing more. Everyone knows thats progress. Thats not what were gonna get. No money, scarcity, financial collapse, collapsed states, general precarity, energy crisis, low intensity global warfare, rapid advancing climate crisis. Thats the situation on the ground. People ask where did the future go? The glamourous versions. Were deliberately choosing to move away from that and into a non C20 space. Were moving into a situation with GenX in power and a depression. A depression where people are afraid of the sky. Thats what the next decade actually looks like, and, you’re gonna live there. Bruce SterlingTuesday, 11 December 2012
