Proposed project title: Operation Education
Section 1: Title, objectives and responsibilities
Title or working title of project:
The title for my project will be ‘Operation Education’ as it is a school survival guide and I think that
this name would be fitting for it.
Project objectives (what is the question you want to answer? What do you want to learn how
to do? What do you want to find out?):
My question for this topic is ‘how do children of the 21st century survive school.’ I will aim to retrieve
this information through various interviews. Throughout this project, I want to learn how to create a
documentary and learn more about the editing process, in order to add effects. I also want to learn
how to use a high-tech recording camera.
I will be responsible for everything in the project as it is a solo project.
Section 2: Your Reasons for choosing this project
The reason why I chose to do this is because it is a different, unique and challenging new type of
project that I have never done before and will allow me to learn and develop new skills and
experience a whole new part of media.

What will I need to research?
I will need to research about the history of documentaries and also about other production apects of
the project
How long this will take?
This may take a while to do so I will need to make sure I set aside some time to undertake this.
Development and analysis of ideas:
I will need to have a process where I analyse and develop my ideas to get a better understanding of it
and to finalise my main focal points of the guide.
How long this will take?
This will also be a lengthy process and I will need to be sure I reserve enough time to do this as it is
the most important stage out of the whole production.
Final outcome:
I will have to edit the work that I film in order for it to come together like a documentary.
How long this will take?
I don’t think this will take very long to do as I will already have a rough idea about the effects I want to
use in each scene.

2. Evaluation:
I will get some people to watch the documentary and give me a review on what they think about it. I
will also do a self-assessment of it.
