Nielsen Online says Australia leads the world for time spent on social media sites (7.12 hrs/mth), ahead of Britain, Italy, North America and Japan.
Nielsen NetView found that in Mar 2010,
8.1 million unique Australians visited Facebook,
5.8 million visited YouTube,
5.2 million visited Wikipedia,
2.3 million visited MySpace,
358,000 visited Bebo (not all social media is successful!)
