    • Introduction:  Leadership is an important function of management which helps to maximize efficiency and to achieve organizational goals. Leadership is the ability to influence a group toward the achievement of a particular goal.

    •    Transformational leadership is a process that changes and transforms individuals. Transformational leadership is the ability to get people to want to change, to improve, and to be led. The concept of transformational leadership was initially introduced by leadership expert James Macgregor Burns.
    •  Transformational leaders are those who stimulate and inspire followers and help to grow and develop into leaders by responding to individual followers' needs. Bernard M. Bass
    • There are four main components of Transformational Leadership .     Idealized Influence (also known as Charismatic Leadership) Inspirational Motivation Intellectual Stimulation Individualized Consideration These are also known as 4 I’s to Transformational Leadership.
    •  Developing  Selling the Vision the Vision  Finding the way forwards.  Leading the charge
    •  Too Much Reliance on Leader  Leader Follower Relationship  Subject to abuse  Lack of trust
    • Transformational leadership is one of the effective approach to the transformational organization, though it has certain limitations, it is helps in the transformation an organization.
