    • It is a National Test for students in years 3, 5, 7 and 9.
    • Tested on reading, writing. language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy
  • 8. My Interviews with concerned parents Johanna Gorman “ I think it is a good thing, having their stage of learning benchmarked in the middle of the primary years, so something can be done to address any weaknesses before it becomes a bit too late” (2008).

    • Broadening their knowledge and understanding as a result of the wide response they would receive in regards to the work produced.
    • The opportunity to critically appraise others’ work and in turn develop social and academic skills.
    • Extends students’ understanding and ability to work collaboratively with others.
