SCORE (Scientific Customer Orientated Risk Evaluation) is our cognitive interviewing fraud
management process. Using a combination of applied psychology, conversation management
techniques, behavioural analysis and practical devices, we are able to accurately assess the
fraud risk and validity of a claim, without making genuine claimants feel defensive. This service
is most effective in the high volume sector of the industry and, in a customer focused way,
directly identifies the opportunistic fraudster. Utilising our SCORE process, several of our
clients have enjoyed a reduction in claims expenditure of over 60% with repudiations and claim
withdrawal levels in excess of 30% in personal lines, particularly in travel and motor claims.
Counter Fraud Solutions - Field Investigation
Whether our clients require surveillance of an injury claim, investigation of cause and origin or a comprehensive
response to motor theft or fraud, CFS can provide a cost effective investigation service. Our team of highly trained
investigators inclusive of: former senior police officers, adjusters and surveillance specialists are experienced in
validating claims and identifying potential fraud as early as possible. We have developed an evidence-gathering process

Counter Fraud Solutions - Consulting
Recent consulting projects for CFS include a full review, on behalf of a global client, of their claims fraud processes
within Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. There was a key requirement for this review to be performed within a
short timeframe. This was completed and delivered in under 5 months. As a result of our recommendations, the client is
now rolling out these changes in a phased approach in territories outside of the USA. Most importantly, it ensures that
genuine customers are supported by identifying fraudulent claims activities, helping to provide financial benefit for
customers as well as the client during these difficult economic times.
The nature of risk is constantly changing and, as claims become increasingly more complex,
the need for expert skills grows. Today, losses often require a range of specialists, including
