9. MANOR LAKES P-12
COLLEGEEY CORE
2014 1:1 iPAD PROGRAM:
APPLICATION LIST
As we follow a self directed inquiry learning approach at Manor Lakes P-12 College, staff will offer guidance and advice to
students in selecting applications that best suit the individual learning needs and learning styles of students.
The following applications have been selected as they have been deemed to have had the greatest impact on student
learning and engagement in recent times.
Previously, our application lists have been quite large and over time we have found that with the release of new
applications, original applications we had selected can become void. We are wanting to students to not only have the Core
selected applications found in this document but also the ability to facilitate their own application usage through personal
choice and parental support.
From this, we have decided to cut back the list to 20 Core Applications we require students to have access to on their
devices. These have been selected by staff with student input and will certainly compliment the teaching and learning
programs offered. You will also find 10 ‘optional‘ applications that students may like to utilise to assist in supporting and
facilitating their learning. Please Note: Any applications that have an Asterix ‘*’, come FREE with iPad devices purchased
after October 2013.
If you have any questions relating to these applications, please do not hesitate to contact me at the college on the details
below.
Thank You,
