  • 3. - A career objective should give your potential employers and idea of how you wish to move forward in your professional life
  • 4. A profile/summary should includeinformation on some of the positions you’ve held
  • 5. Professional experience should include information on some of the position you’ve held
  • 6. Achievements, volunteer positions and interests should only be listed
  • 7. References should be listed if requested
  • 8. Your resume represents you to prospectiveemployers. A great resume will make you stand out from other candidates.
  • 9. Make sure that your resume is errorfree – double check your grammar and spelling
  • 10. Make sure that your resume is formatted well
  • 11. A well-written resume can make a differencebetween being stuck at your current job andgetting an interview to land the job of your dreams
