    • Getting Clear About Coaching
      • What is coaching?
      • Coaching is a powerful, professional relationship helping people make important changes in their lives. Coaching begins with the present, ‘what is’, and works toward the future, ‘how you want it to be’.
      • Most coaching is by phone, so your coach can live next door, in the next state or across the country.
      • In any case, confidentiality is ensured.
      • What is co-active coaching?
      • Co-Active is a style of coaching that involves the active and collaborative participation of both the coach and client.  A co-active coach challenges you to realize your own wisdom and resources.
      • My role as a coach is to provide you with gentle but persistent accountability as you create a life that you love.  You set the direction and the goals; my job is to keep you moving forward.
      • What is co-active coaching? (continued)
      • We’ll tailor a program together, but the agenda comes from you.
      • It’s like having your own personal navigator for the journey of your life: someone who will help you find your way and stay on course.
      • What’s the difference between coaching & counseling?
      • While therapy focuses on your past, coaching takes you from where you are to where you want to be.
      • What’s the structure of coaching?
      • Most coaching is done by phone. It begins with a “Discovery Session” (in person if you wish) and then takes the form of three 40-minute coaching sessions per month by phone. This structure can be customized.
      • How long is the coaching process?
      • A commitment of 3 months gives you the opportunity to experience results in the process. The length of a coaching relationship is typically 6 to 9 months. But it is not uncommon for coaching relationships to last a year or more, depending on your circumstances.
      • What’s the next step?
      • Contact me today to schedule a free sample coaching session.  Our half-hour session by phone will give you a chance to experience coaching… and you will get the benefit with no cost or commitment.
