  • 2. CRT Pros - Uses Cathode Ray tubes -Uses 3 different RGB lenses and combines them on screen -Best absolute black levels available. -Bright (high lumens)
  • 3. CRT Cons -Uses 3 tubes (more points of failure) -Lamps expensive. -Heavy - Burn-in can be To get rid of.
  • 4. LCD Pros - Higher Resolution - Available Cheap - Few “Rainbow” artifacts - Best long throw performance - Cheap Lamps
  • 5. LCD Cons - Can be Blurry - Cheaper often Low Resolution - Some can be very dark (low lumen ratings)
  • 6. DLP Pros - Handles motion blur well. - Bright - Can come in very short throws (distance from screen) - Best for home theaters
  • 7. DLP Cons - Rainbow artifacts are common - not as deep blacks - Lamp is expensive to replace
