    • Using Easybib to create a bibliography

      click on register and fill in your details and the coupon code
      Always select the APA button
    • Using Word to create a bibliography
      Word > Document Elements > References > Manage
      A document
    • In-text citing is when you refer to the words or ideas of others in the body of your own work
      • Direct quotes
      • Paraphrasing
      • Summarising
    • Direct quote
      “This is where you acknowledge the author of a source in the body of your own work” (Uther, 2011, p 10)
    • Paraphrasing – another’s ideas in your own words
      You should acknowledge your source in your own document (Uther, 2011, p 10)
      Do this also when summarising a longer source eg, a paragraph into a sentence
    • In Easybib create an in-text citation by going to the resource in your bibliography and clicking on “Parenthetical”
    • In Word, double click on the source in the citation box
