  • 9. SITUATION IN SPAIN • The situation in Spain in the last years has been hard and difficult. • Unemployment is a big problem. Unemployment rate is one of the highest in Europe. • There have been cuts in Education and Health. • Young qualified people have to emigrate to other countries to get a job.

  • 15. GREEN TIDE The Green Tide is a movement in defense of public education and against the privatization of education.

Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
