Spend three and a half days discovering your inner comic and then - if you’re brave enough - unleash it
on an unsuspecting audience on the last day.
► WORKSHOP GOALS
From finding your creative inspiration to learning the building blocks of jokes this weekend workshop will help
you become a better writer and performer.
► TUTOR
Logan Murray has been in the comedy industry for over 20 years. He is an
accomplished stand-up comedian, actor, television and radio writer as well as
stage-director, author (‘Teach Yourself Stand-up Comedy’) and tutor.
His London based 'Stand Up and Deliver' courses have taught the art of
comedy to over a thousand participants. Amongst Logan Murray previous
workshoppers are:

► ACTIVITIES The workshop leader, Logan Murray, will concentrate on three main areas:
Performance exercises designed at encouraging spontaneity, creativity and developing your
own comic style.
Writing games and homework, with group feedback and tutor led suggestions to help you
build up a sense of comedic grammar and hone up your writing skills.
Solo work where the student’s writing, stage performance and technique is put under the
microscope.
► STUDENT PROFILE Fit, dedicated individuals who can stand a weekend, more or less, alcohol free
(No time until after the show!) It will be hard work - even though it will also be a lot of fun.
