    • 1Thou shalt read thy problem...carefully.
    • 2Whatsoever thou doest to one side of thyequation, do ye also to the other.
    • 3Thou must use thy "common sense", elsethou wilt have flagpoles 9,000 feet high.Yea, even fathers younger than sons.
    • 4Thou shalt ignore the teachings of falseprophets to do all thy work in thy head.
    • 5When thou knowest not, thou shalt look itup; and if thy search still elude thee, thoushalt ask thy All-Knowing Teacher.
    • 6Thou shalt master each step beforeputting thy heavy foot down on the next.
    • 7Thy correct answer does not prove thatthou hast worked thy problem correctly.This argument convincest none, least ofall thy Teacher.
    • 8Thou shalt first see that thou hast copiedthy problem correctly, before bearing falsewitness that the answer book lieth.
    • 9Thou shalt look back even unto thy youthand remember thy arithmetic.
    • 10Thou shalt learn, read, write ,speak, andlisten correctly in the language ofmathematics, and verily As and Bs shallfollow thee even unto graduation.
    • 11My own Maths teacher (thank you MrHind) taught me the 11th commandment…Thou shalt not divide by zero.
