  • 4.  Public Education ◦ Utility Bill Inserts ◦ Stormwater Website  Public Involvement ◦ Adopt-a-Street Program ◦ Storm Drain Stenciling
  • 5.  Map the City’s storm sewer and sanitary sewer systems.  Train staff to identify sanitary sewer leaks and illicit discharge.  Investigate and eliminate sanitary sewer leaks and illicit discharge.  Encourage public reporting of illicit discharge.
  • 6.  Review construction plans for compliance with stormwater regulations.  Inspect construction sites for stormwater compliance.  Investigate public complaints of construction sites.
  • 7.  Ensure long-term operation and maintenance of post-construction stormwater controls.  Train staff on post construction runoff regulations and final inspection procedures.
  • 8.  Maintain an inventory of City facilities.  Maintain permits and spill prevention plans for facilities.  Clean storm drains and inlets as necessary.  Conduct vehicle maintenance on a regular schedule.
