  2. 2. What is T.A.A.F? Texas Amateur Athletic Federation • Non-profit organization established in 1925 to promote amateur athletics in Texas • 17 regions • Comprised of parks and recreation departments, individuals and organizations • Member since 1975
  3. 3. Games of Texas College Station, Bryan & Texas A&M University • Sports festival created for Texas’ amateur athletes ages 5 to 50 • Largest amateur sporting event in Texas • Core events: track, swimming, golf, tennis and boxing • Average of 10,000 athletes and 20,000 spectators
