    • 1. Hot Spring Spas There is no other place in the world who celebrates the art of bathing like Japan. Being a volcanic nation, hot springs can be found all over Japan. For more than a thousand years, Japanese have enjoyed hot springs and made it into one of their favorite past-times. Cozy Inns, much like a western bed and breakfast, are generally built around these hot springs and serve to enhance the total experience. The meals served are nothing less than a multicourse, gourmet meal which is created out of fresh local ingredients. In the last thirty years, due to Japan economic growth and surplus wealth, they have reinvigorated this past-time with improved landscaping, food and service. Hopefully, those who see my website will enjoy looking at these beautiful hot springs and encourage people to come and experience them first hand.
