  • Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL;formerly Apple Computer, Inc.)is an American multinationalcorporation that designs andsells consumer electronics,computer software, and personalcomputers.
  • The companys best-knownhardware products are theMacintosh line ofcomputers, the iPod, theiPhone and the iPad.
  • On January 27, 2010, Apple introducedtheir much-anticipated media tablet, theiPad running a modified version of iOS. Itoffers multi-touch interaction withmultimedia formats including newspapers,magazines, ebooks, textbooks, photos,movies, TV shows videos, music, wordprocessing documents, spreadsheets, videogames, and most existing iPhone apps.
  • The iMac is a range of all-in-one Macintosh deskopcomputers built by Apple ınc.It hasbeen the primary part of Applesconsumer desktop offerings since itsintroduction in 1998, and hasevolved through five distict forms.
  • On October 23, 2001, Apple introducedthe iPod digital music player. It hasevolved to include various modelstargeting the wants of different users. TheiPod is the market leader in portablemusic players by a significant margin,with more than 220 million units shippedas of September 2009.
  • The iPhone is a lineof smartphones designed and marketedby Apple inc. The first phone was unveiledby Steve Jobs, then CEO of Apple, onJanuary 9, 2007,and released on June 29,2007. The 5th generation iPhone,the İphone 4S, was announced on October4, 2011, and released 10 days later.
  •  Steven Paul Jobs ; February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011)was an American businessman, designer and inventor. He is best known as the co- founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Through Apple, he was widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolation and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields. Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Pixar animation studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar.
  •  In 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with a pancreas neuroendocrine tumor. Though it was initially treated, he reported a hormone imbalance, underwent a liver transplant in 2009, and appeared progressively thinner as his health declined.On medical leave for most of 2011, Jobs resigned as Apple CEO in August that year and was elected Chairman of the Board. He died of respiratory arrest related to his metastatic tumor on October 5, 2011. He continues to receive honors and public recognition for his influence in the technology and music industries.
