The Freshman Learning Communities program allows freshmen toselect a subject area of clustered courses, along with peers who have similarinterests. The Freshman Learning Community program offers guaranteed coursesyou need to meet major prerequisites and graduation requirements.Courses are grouped thematically in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, or SocialSciences. This innovative program helps students to:earn higher GPAs,develop superior writing and communication skills, andgraduate reliably in four years.Recreation and Wellness CenterOpening in early 2011, the new 54,000-square-foot Recreation and Wellness Centeris located directly across from Pioneer Heights student housing.
