    1. Journalism Professional Practicum (JPP) ACICIS designed the JPP for students of journalism, media and communication studies, and cadet journalists. The program gives ACICIS participants the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of Indonesia and gain valuable practical experience of the Jakarta media. www.acicis.murdoch.edu.au Opening the door to universities in Indonesia
    2. What the Program Involves Students take part in a two-week intensive in-country language and culture course at Jakarta’s Atma Jaya University upon arrival.     4. JPP 2009 The JPP 2009 was an incredible success.     6. JPP 2010 ACICIS will be running the next JPP in 2009/10 from December 31 to February 12.     7. Who Can Participate? Anyone! • Non-Australian students welcome • University students or private participants • Indonesian and non- Indonesian speakers. • Check with your university’s journalism coordinator to negotiate assessment, fee payment and accreditation. www.acicis.murdoch.edu.au Opening the door to universities in Indonesia
    8. FAQs Can non-Australian students apply? Yes. Do I need insurance? Yes. Do I need to bring a laptop? Yes. Other equipment like recording devices may also prove useful.
