    • How it will work
      • This new approach offers a more tailored way for you to work with the Investors in People Standard.
      • Furthermore, the framework itself has been extended beyond the Standard to give organisations the opportunity to explore in more depth areas that are of most importance to them.
      • It can therefore provide stretch as part of an organisation’s ongoing process of continuous development .
      • The whole process is pragmatic and moves your organisation forward to continuously improve .
copyright Investors in People UK 2009 09/23/09 IMPROVING BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
    • How it will work
      • This means a closer, more consultative working relationship with your Investors in People adviser and assessor.
      • Your Investors in People adviser and assessor will establish what your business priorities are at the start ,then identify the most relevant parts of the framework for your organisation and its particular needs. We advocate having a meeting with the senior management team to agree the focus .
      • Experience is showing that this maximises the value of working with Investors in People and development actions feed into your annual business planning .
copyright Investors in People UK 2009 09/23/09 IMPROVING BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
    • What has not changed
      • The Investors in People Standard remains the core level of good practice
      • We still support and help improve employers of all types, sizes and sectors
      • Customers only need to work with the areas and guidance that suit their business needs
      • Oth er tools/guidance remain valid such as Interactive
      • Customers will still be reviewed every three years.
copyright Investors in People UK 2009 09/23/09 IMPROVING BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
    • The extended framework and recognition
      • Extra levels of guidance in all areas of the framework
      • Provide extra support and guidance from which employers can draw
      • New levels of recognition celebrate organisations that
