  2. 2. Accommodation Team in The Student Centre Receive and log all applications for accommodation. Nominate students for rooms in halls. Help with any problems you may encounter before or after you move into halls. Provide information with private sector accommodation
  3. 3. Guarantee Scheme for First Year Undergraduates 1. You must firmly accept your course offer via UCAS by the 30th June 2. Apply for accommodation by the 30th June 3. You must be aged 18 years or above at the time of taking up residence in the hall (September 2013). - Includes residents living within Greater London - Excludes students choosing City as their Insurance choice

East Central House • Within 10 minute walk from Main Campus • Mixture of single en-suite rooms in cluster flats and self-contained studio apartments. • All residents have access to the common room and a landscaped garden. • Adapted rooms available for students with mobility difficulties • 24 hour CCTV in operation and security staff on duty out of hours

Canto Court • 10 minute walk from Main Campus • 5 Minutes walk to Cass Business School • Self Contained Studio Apartments • Studios designed with hide-away beds to maximise space • Fitted kitchen, a bathroom, flat screen TV and a large study desk in each room • Large modern common room • Complex has a courtyard and garden

Prices and contract lengths • Weekly rates start from £185 for this academic year • See our website www.city.ac.uk/accommodation • Include utility bills and internet connection Payment options • 1 single payment or 3 termly instalments • UK based Guarantor and student loan confirmation required for termly instalment • Terms and conditions of contracts set by the housing provider* • If you studying a course with the SCHS you will have the option to move in early and also to extend your contract over summer at all 3 halls* * Speak to the Student Centre for further details

How to Apply  Online application form Apply by 30th June to be covered by guarantee scheme. • Students with a conditional offer of a place at City University can expect to hear from us once the 'A' level results are released in August. • Unconditional offer holders can expect to hear from us before this - usually in July.
  10. 10. Private Sector Accommodation Some students choose not to apply for City University halls of residence and instead opt to move into private sector accommodation in the London area. Range of options available to students, including: • Private Halls of Residence • Shared Properties • Short term accommodation Dedicated staff member to discuss all your accommodation options in the private sector www.city.ac.uk/accommodation
