    1. 1. Totalitarianism: TheGovernment Controls You By Ciera Johnson
    2. 2. CharacteristicsA totalitarian government has total controlover every person and their actions. Thisextreme form of rule is run by a dictator or in adictatorial way. A totalitarian leader shouldhave the states goals in mind while leading.Totalitarian governments always have theirmilitary present.
    3. 3. FascismBelief in the constant competition ofraces and nations, where the strongwill survive and the weak will bedominated by the strong.Fascism is when one party rules andno opposition to the government. Theeconomy is collectively operative byowners, workers, and the governmentwhereas in communism thegovernment is in complete controlover everything
    4. 4. -Describe Stalins rule in at least foursentences using the words, GreatPurge, Collectivization, Trotsky, and Communism5 year plans in the sentences (refer tothe video questions). Stalins goal was to consolidate individual land, therefore Collectivisation was enforced in the Soviet Union. Stalins 5 year plan was to industrialize entirely new cities. Stalin lead the Great Purge, a series of campaigns of persecution and political repression. Stalin was the cause of many death. He had Trotsky murdered with an ice axe.
    5. 5. HitlerThe SS was originally acted as bodyguards to the NaziParty but later became Hitlers personal bodyguards.Reichstag was a building that caught fire and wasblamed on the Communists, but its obvious that theywere framed by the Nazis. He attempted to march during the Beer Hall Putsch,he was imprisoned for treason, there he wrote MeinKampf, "My Struggles."Hitler had moved up in society to Chancellor, secondin charge, but Germany was in a state of emergencyand Hitler was granted full dictatorship, when hebecame dictator is when Germany was in a real stateof emergency.
    6. 6. ReflectionI think living under a totalitarian government would behorrible. We have many rights in america that we wouldnthave under a totalitarian government. Being dictated all thetime would be frustrating.Communism should just be the government having totalcontrol, but some men with wrong ideas manipulated thisinto totalitarianism.
