    • The American Sewing Guild of the Hudson Valley sews with a purpose. Andrea Diamond and her Hudson Valley quilting colleague’s from the American Sewing Guild (www.asg.org) have graciously embarked upon the challenge of making and donating a double sized quilt, 73×85. It nicely covers a queen sized mattress!“This is a huge endeavor, but once we caught the vision of creating for the cause ofLeukemia, we decided to go for the wow. We could have gone for a smaller or lesscomplicated pattern, but after conversations with campaign director MelodyMordock, we felt inspired to contribute our time and talents to the max.
