  • 7. On February 18, Quinton Morgan jumped into a very cold Weevil Pond tohelp raise money for Arkansas Special Olympics athletes. Members of PhiAlpha Theta chipped in to raise the registration fee to support this worthy cause.

  • 11.  Phi Alpha Theta, with support from the Arkansas Humanities Council and the Department of Arkansas Heritage, sponsored the exhibit “Civil War Arkansas, 1861-1865.” Dr. William Shea gave the opening address on March 13, followed by a reception given by Phi Alpha Theta with funds from the UAM Student Activities Board. The exhibit was housed at UAM Taylor Library from March 13-April 11, with Phi Alpha Theta members conducting tours for local student groups and civic organizations.
