Using Your Facebook as a Page Twitter: @ChristinaLJohns About Me: I like helping people and organizations do good things in the world. I also happen to like Facebook, Twitter and pretty much anything related to social technology. Got questions? Email me and help me justify the enormous amount of time I spend on the computer.
Step 1: Login into Facebook Step 2: Go to “Account” Step 3: Select “Use Facebook as Page”
Now you are ready to post as a page. The profile image of the page you choose to act as will appear when you post comments to your page and any other pages and profiles you post or comment to.
I am posting as “Stand for Israel” to IFCJ’s Facebook page. Acting as a page allows the administrator to share videos, links, notes, and photo albums between pages or pages to profiles. You can also customize who sees what content when you post between pages by clicking on the lock icon and selecting from the dropdown menu.
Use the “@” symbol to tag friends, pages even applications within comments or posts. Once you tag the page, application or friend it will be hyperlinked. When clicked on the tagged item you will be redirected to that page, app or profile. Everything tagged using the “@” symbol will also appear on the page, profile or application you select.
