this si not meant in the Cliché kidn of way, because, if you are not living in a movie,,,you won’t have the magically powers.
Think more in the way of…How will you think about your relationships , how will the tree looks like…. What about the white noise you hear around you…??
Being aware of these things are key to become calm
This is the mindset I let my participants explore

I wanted to start my trials with people who already had the calming ability and motivation, but not the trigger. So I developed a working partnership with Avalon Yoga and a mediation group (ran by Connie Habash) palo alto to recruit such people. Even These people were struggling to keep calm and aware during heated moments of the day. Given their calming expertise, I thought it would be easy to design a perfect trigger for them, but what I found during the trials was that itwas easier to target people who do one specific behavior ( ie. walking) and then twist that behavior to mean something else (a smiling walk) . My user focus changed from yoga/meditation practicioners to the ephiphany that I need to focus on intergrate the awerenss with a technological application, because technologiaclablity is key for success in chnagingbehaviour through using technology.Since technolgy is only one solution to a problem. Not the main focus in itself.Tie behavior model with technology ability.
As we were using technology this was a key insights……. the behavior had to be familiar to the user (blogging may not be), and this was more important than ability and motivations of being calm.Led to the insightsTechnological ability is more important for success than calming ability and motivation
I then went through all my platforms and listened to what People told me…… here is the key feedback,,,
this is what I found…Facebook leads to high social awarenss, no tech leads to more self awarenssFacebook you can have low motivation and still get something out of it, while you need high participation and motivation if you do it outside of technological realmFacebook gives you a layered feedback, in regards to participation, there is a layer between you and the other people, you need to log on to fB, you need to click etc, while if yu ask epople to smile on their walk , they get instant feedback from their enviornments.Self aware is needed for calm , it is strongly connected to self- compassion, a positive way of creating happiness(self esteem) Social awarenss is relataed to creating your identity, think about the movie social network where zuckerberg creates The facebook to be in cntrol over his identity aamong others, it is a competetive environment
Led to the principle of “Different types of participation is key for a positive experience in awareness”
So when you design you need to know people will not participate on all differnet levels, and give them postiveexperinces, on all levels
