PRESENTER: Ed Hennessy is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Consultant, Leadership Trainer & Coach. Ed has a diverse background beginning as a U.S. Military Veteran followed by national level experience in Sales/Business Development and Executive Recruitment. As an EI Coach/Facilitator he leads executives at all levels through individual Emotional Intelligence development as well as delivering EI programs to corporate clients TESTIMONIALS: President, Manufacturing Company: “In the busyness of today’s business schedules, it is easy to overlook each interaction with your team as a task-oriented conversation, when in fact, it is about a subordinate expressing their needs and wants. Working with Ed & LEADERSHIP CALL, I have been able to identify those moments as real opportunities to connect with each employee, resulting in an improved communication and understanding. Ultimately, I have discovered that there is a willingness for that employee to want to share crucial information with me about our business. “ Executive & Leadership Coach: “I like taking different assessments to see what new things I can discover about myself so I can grow to be a better person. The EQ assessment seemed pretty straightforward at first until I questioned one of my scores. As Ed explained the correlation of the different results it became apparent that a couple of the items that were above normal , aka strengths, could become barriers for me in some situations. For example, I have a very high stress tolerance and it needed to be balanced by empathy so I don’t come across as insensitive. I am a very compassionate person however I am not as empathic of others situations as I could be. I now am more focused on understanding the struggles people face in stressful situations and I have slowed down telling them how to work through it. “ National Sales Manager I have had the joy of working with and leading some amazing people throughout my life in sports, combat, and business. I have found that the best leaders and teammates are people that have the ability to be comfortable in their own skin and act decisively, while remaining cognizant of the impact of their actions on others. I have not spent much time thinking about how to quantify those qualities I just mentioned, but this assessment did just that. After examining my results and feedback with Ed, I couldn't agree with the assessment more. This assessment captures the most crucial skills in a business leader, which are not typically captured in a standard aptitude test. This is a tool that I will utilize not only for my own self-improvement, but also in hiring for the rest of my professional career. TESTIMONIALS ON EQi TRAININGHIGHLIGHTS OF EQi TRAINING
