Top seven 1st pick possiblities for 2014 Top seven 1st pick possiblities for 2014 Presentation Transcript

    • Top Seven players whocould be the first pickin the 2014 NFL draftBy Roy WolleyFriday, May 10, 13
    • 7) Aaron MurrayThere are a plethora of phenomenalquarterbacks in this years draft. Just like EJEmmanuel from Florida State, Murray isn’t assought after as the other QB’s in the class. Itsurprised everyone when EJ Emmanuel wasdrafted the Bills as the first QB drafted in the2013 draft a few weeks ago.Though not highlyexpected,Aaron Murray has the potential to go1st pick, 1st round in the 2014 Draft. It alldepends on how well he produces in thisupcoming 2013 season with the GeorgiaBulldogs.Friday, May 10, 13
    • 6) Braxton MillerBraxton Miller has been just anothersuccess story of Ohio State coach UrbanMeyer. Miller was recruited as an Athleteand ended up becoming Quarterback forthe Buckeyes as soon as he got there. Milleris a raw quarterback that still must improvein accuracy. He is still an extremelydangerous dual threat QB with amazingmobility and running skill while he hasimproved immensely on his accuracy asshown in the spring game recently. If theBuckeyes have another 12-0 season thisyear he will definitely be a high contenderfor 1st pick next year in the draft.Friday, May 10, 13
    • 5) Marqise LeeLee had an amazing sophomore season thatdefinitely turned heads. Lee has beencompared to and has been labeled as the nextRandy Moss. With praise that high Lee could bethe first pick in the draft depending onwhether or not he can connect with the newstarting Quarterback which is still in progress.Lee also had an injury during spring practicebut, if he can bounce back and produce they hedid last season if not better, you better keepand I on him.Friday, May 10, 13
    • 4) Johnny ManzielAs the first freshmen in football history towin the Heisman Trophy, there is absolutely nodoubt that Johnny Football will be one of thetop players considered to be the first namecalled in the 2014 draft. Johnny Footballsecretly burst into the 2012 season as aredshirt freshmen and produced better statsthan initially every QB in the nation. Manzielpractically on Celeb status after his historicfirst season in College Football. Manziel iseligible for the draft after this season. The onlyreason I put him at #4 on this list is becausethere’s a good chance he won’t declare for thedraft after this season.Friday, May 10, 13
    • 3) AJ McCarronThe man with 2 national championships.AJMcCarron is going into his junior year with2 national championships with Alabama.McCarron has a huge chance winninganother one this year as well. If AJ cancontinue to post outstanding stats thisseason under head coach Nick Saban, thereis no doubt his name will be called first inthe draft.Friday, May 10, 13
    • 2) Teddy BridgewaterTeddy Bridgewater hasn’t been getting therespect he deserves. No one knew aboutTeddy Bridgewater despite his fantasticstats he post in rushing and passing. He hasa unbeatable arm along with rare accuracy. What really turned people on toBridgewater was when he upset theFlorida Gators who were #1 in passdefense in the Orange Bowl. Bridgewateralso got MVP for the Big Ten as well as thatbowl game. Although he doesn’t get asmuch hype as Manziel or McCarron,Bridgewater feels confident that he will bethe first pick in the NFL if not that thanthe first QB taken in the 2014 NFL draft.Friday, May 10, 13
    • 1) Jadevon ClowneyJadevon Clowney has been stealing everyoneshype since his senior year in high school. Recruitshave said that he could’ve gone straight out ofhigh school into the NFL and that is arguably thebest compliment a football player can get.Especially as a high school student. Clowneyreally turned heads when he knocked the helmetoff of a Michigan running back by hitting him sohard. He has lived up to all of his hype andcontinues to get better each year. He is for nowthe player all coaches will be wanting and hasalmost a guarantee to take the first spot on theNFL draft board. Definitely try to watch this 6’6272-pound monster this upcoming season as wellas on whatever team gets lucky enough to pickthis guy up in the NFL.Friday, May 10, 13
