  1. 1. Drummer contents magazine sticks to the theme of the magazine throughout with the main image being someone on the drums, a picture of a drum set the whole theme is very grungy but still entices the reader with the splash of colour using orange which in most magazines they use red so they show individuality and creativity. The layout of the page is something I like, how there is little to read and what writing there is it’s framed by smaller images. The regular box on the bottom left hand corner is short and snappy which makes it simple and easy to know what your looking for. The use of black and white images as well as colour create change so it’s not as boring.
  2. 2. Kerrang contents page has a lot going on at first glance but the way they have separated the text and all the features of the magazine makes it easier to find exactly what your looking for. The main image is a man doing a live set the genre of music of Kerrang seems to be rock and grungy. The colours used are simple only using bright yellow white and black. The use of load of images is interesting.
  3. 3. Q magazine contents page is my favourite, the main image are of Liam Gallagher and band mates. The layout is very simple and clean, and is easy to read. The colour scheme is again black, red and white these are the most commonly used in all music magazines, the writing is very small and hard to read and there are little pictures only two, i prefer more.
