Presentation made by ChineseTeachers.com in June 2009 at the ICICE 2009 conference on online teaching of the Mandarin Chinese language as a foreign language, explaining how online language learning could get so much more convenient and flexible for both students and teachers, as identified as the move from Learning 2.0 to Learning 3.0 where not only distance but time barriers are removed. This presentation also explains ChineseTeachers.com's social ambition to bring students and teachers from all around the world, including in remote places and/or with disabilities, the access of learning and teaching (and earning an income).

Why would teachers not be able to have the convenience to teach when they want?

NO~ Learning 1.0 is very important nothing replace face-to-face learning like nothing replace face-to-face business BUT~ It probably means the end of Learning 2.0… SO~ Putting together Learning 1.0 and Learning 3.0 is the real WIN-WIN, for both students and teachers
