What will you share?
How often are you able to engage?
How will you monitor your account(s)?

It’s like a live “news feed” of the world
Search it (globally and locally)
Easy to use and make connections
Share thoughts, pictures, links and reports
Get news out faster (Way less formal than a press release)
Great for sharing tips, news, info, reminders , promoting events and asking questions

Community Building

Facebook’s culture is different than Twitter’s
People are more selective of who they let in
It is great for building community
Requires a lot of time and effort
Pages, Profiles and Groups oh my!
Many hands make light work
Should not be treated like a website
Heavy monitoring required
