Where are we today?  Take the Interview video screening and high usage of Skype interviewing  Evaluating more skills testing tools and evaluating a behavioral assessment tool.  Developing core interview guides for all positions  Eliminated Monster and Careerbuilder contracts – saving $100,000 in sources not working; cut $200,000 in print ads first year…  Hiring a Sourcing Specialist for the first time

What can we learn from Healthcare? …..really SHARING BEST PRACTICES  Children’s Hospitals share information in a listserv  Healthcare HR Association and Healthcare Recruiting Associations  Copy the Competition….The Jones’ effect  Partner with Background check company to share terminations of employees  Most wait for the right person and do without until they find them…some jobs stay open more than a year
