In this role my duties were many and varied. I played a part in the design of the corporate image including business
cards, letter headed paper, company logo and QR code. I was also responsible for overseeing company finances and
completion of company accounts. I liaised with other businesses, such as suppliers, and customers to ensure that all
payments were processed promptly. I also had the responsibility of maintaining and updating the company website
and ensuring that the company phone app provides clients with easy access to current company information. I was
also the business representative at the Harwich in Harmony business networking breakfasts. I also analysed the
business expenditure to report to the business director to ensure a consistent profitable business.

At the Holiday Camp I was part of the Entertainment Team. We ensured that the children remained happy and safe
throughout their holiday. We followed a routine of entertainment programmes which included many educational and
fun games, Party games and Dances. Working in this role allowed me to greatly develop my confidence and

In this position I contributed to the smooth running of the bar area. I kept stock on rotation and ensured that all
persons were being served at a great pace. I proved that I work very well under pressure as I had to multitask and
memorise many different drinks orders at a time. I was approachable and friendly. In this position I had to stay very
alert and focused on ensuring the safety of others. I was at times entrusted with the responsibility for the opening of
the pub and also the closing down of the pub, including barrel changes and the cashing up the tills’ nightly income to
ensure that all staff had correctly processed all sales.

In this position I was initially responsible for maintaining a high level of organisation throughout the departments
including the organisation of appointment keeping, ensuring that messages were passed on and keeping on top of
important filing organisation. I was able to develop my skills and was given further responsibilities within the rental
department such as finding the right tenants, credit checking, managing rental payments, establishing a professional
relationship with both property owners and tenants, documentation write ups, home viewings and many other
responsibilities. Towards the end of my time with Oakpark Properties I had also become very involved with the sales
department. I was given the responsibility for entering many of our properties into a well known magazine which
required me to meet sharp deadlines and present an above standard quality of description to the property details. My
fine attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure allowed me to perform well in this role.

Initially this position was part of my school’s Work Experience programme . My responsibilities were to maintain an
above standard presentation of stock and floor maintenance, to meet and greet customers in a friendly professionsal
manner and to process any sales. As a result of my performance on the workplacement I was pleased to be offered the
same position as a part time summer job.
