The target audience for music magazine is the rock genre typically 16-25 in
age range therefore I have fitted my magazine appropriately around this.
MODE music magazine will target both genres as the magazine benefits most
from this by profit sales. I feel by also including women in my magazine it
would gain sales as there are not as many rock magazines for women.
Focused on the individual
The individual seems to wear dark colours for example blacks and reds
therefore I will base my colour scheme on this. Many rock listeners show their
emotions through colours and clothing therefore I feel this is essential to
capture this in my music magazine, the stereotypical rock listener doesn’t
convert to mainstream therefore I felt I could not use some of the same text
fonts and colours that other music magazines use. By not glamorising the
magazine I feel this is how MODE will stand out from its competitors.
