    • A television is a widely used telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images, either monochromatic ("black and white") or color, usually accompanied by sound. "Television" may also refer specifically to a television set, television programming or television transmision.

    • 1900, Tesla granted U.S. patent
    • 1904, Fleming invents the tv
    • 1906, First Christmas Eve program
    • 1912, Radio signal amplifier devised
    • 1920, first scheduled commercial radio programmer
    • 1925, the televisor
    • 1927, all electronic television system
    • 1947, transventor is invented
    • 1954, first coast-to-coast color tv transmission
    • 1968, 200 million tv sets
    • 1990, FCC sets a testing schedule for a proposed all-digital HDTV system

    • CRT (cathode ray tube)
    • Tubes
    • Diodes
    • Resistors
    • capacitors and inductors
    • Chassis box made of wood.
  • 5. Effects on Society
    • The TV has many effects on society. For example, it has informed us on important events in the world thanks to the News. The TV also entertains people with various television shows. They also can hurt us. Not in a physical way but in a mental way. Such as, it can draw kids away from learning and doing their homework. Therefore, the TV was and was not a good invention due to the effects it has on society.
