Introduction The 27dinner movement was founded in 2006 by Mike Stopforth and Dave Duarte. Held on the 27th of each month and alternating between Johannesburg, Cape Town and now Durban, the 27dinners have hosted thousands of attendees across multiple venues over the last 5 years.

Vision The 27dinner movement aims to bring together informed, networked individuals with a common passion for technology, media and business in an informal but valuable real world space. There have been over 60 27dinners since inception, with an average of 80 people per dinner.
