Finding tenantsSourcing and selecting tenants for your property • Selecting tenants for your property can become a time consuming and sometimes-difficult process to handle on your own. Nowadays because of numerous unforeseen problems, many property owners prefer to have the selection of the tenants handled professionally by a Property Management Company • We endeavour to select your tenants from more than one applicant. However, this may not always be possible. But we will always match the tenant to the property as required. • All our tenants must provide satisfactory testimonials and current references to be eligible to rent a property from Century 21. We also require the applicants to sign a privacy clause allowing us to carry out credit checks if required. In this way we are able to ensure that both the tenant and the property owner are satisfied with the tenancy. An official photo ID is required. • We state that rent is paid 1-2 weeks in advance. 1 week’s rent is charged as a letting fee, plus 3 weeks Bond. • As a general rule we do not allow dogs unless specifically allowed on the property if the property suits this. In some instances tenants with dogs will pay a higher rental. In this case dogs should not be allowed inside. • Century 21 also maintains a register of prospective tenants and landlords who have contacted us in regards to property rentals.
